Bio


I'm an anthropologist, software engineer and writer.

Anthropology

I used to live in the Amazon rainforest, where I studied the way of life of Indigenous communities. I lived with the Arawete people for many months. I've written mostly academic papers on the topic of music, language, and culture.

Software

I started coding in 2019 after an intense bootcamp in London. I've worked on a small startup called Farmdrop, mostly writin Ruby. Since 2023, I've been a software engineer at the BBC, where I write Elixir.

Writing

Writing is a passion of mine. I've written blog posts, academic articles, essays, and edited books. Recently, I've published my first solo-book, "Coderspeak: The Language of Computer Programmers."
